I followed our Hindu traditions. The past 5 years I have been suffering from unbearable stomach pains. In a medical clinic, they could not help me, and sent me home again. I couldn't sleep at night from the pain. Then somebody gave me your paper to read, and in my misery I cried out, "God Jesus, if you can help me, I will be your servant for the rest of my life!"

Then a wonderful thing happened! Gradually the pain decreased, until I was completely well for the first time in 5 years! Since then Jesus Christ is my Saviour, and I have joined a Christian group to worship and serve Jesus Christ. Now I have been baptised, and I have been given a new Christian name - Goshaiah.

I am a tribal woman of little education. I and my husband work in the fields for food. My husband began to go about with bad men. He began to drink and he began to gamble. We lost everything. Our lives became unbearable. He was always drunk. Somebody gave me one of your books to read. I was desperate. As I read your book about Jesus the Son of God, I began to believe.

I showed your book to my husband. He also began to realize that his life was not right. Very soon things began to change. He stopped gambling and he completely stopped drinking. He started working with me in the fields again. We are very happy now. We have also found Christian people who could baptize us. We are now also Christian people of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is exactly how it happened.
